Kindergarten to 8th grade Application
Lenart Regional Gifted Center is a CPS K-8 Selective Enrollment Elementary School. The application period for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year is open from September 23, 2025 at 10:00am and will close on November 14, 2025 at 5:00pm. Please visit GoCPS for applications, guides, videos, and additional information. Children entering Kindergarten through eighth grade are eligible to apply.

Pre-Kindergarten Application
Lenart also offers a full day Pre-Kindergarten program for 3-4 years olds. This Pre-Kindergarten program is a part of the CPS Early Learning Program and is separate from our K-8 gifted program. All students that attend our Pre-Kindergarten program will still have to go through the Selective Enrollment application process for Kindergarten.
