Kindergarten to 8th grade Application
Lenart Regional Gifted Center is a CPS K-8 Selective Enrollment Elementary School. The application period for the current school year is closed. The application for the 2027-2028 school year will open on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 10AM. Families can submit an application through the GoCPS online portal by Friday, November 13, 2026 at 5PM.
 
Please visit GoCPS for applications, guides, videos, and additional information. Children entering kindergarten through eighth grade are eligible to apply.

Pre-Kindergarten Application

Lenart also offers a full day Pre-Kindergarten program for 3-4 years olds. This Pre-Kindergarten program is a part of the CPS Early Learning Program and is separate from our K-8 gifted program.  All students that attend our Pre-Kindergarten program will still have to go through the Selective Enrollment application process for Kindergarten.
