Application Process
Kindergarten to 8th grade Application
Lenart Regional Gifted Center is a CPS K-8 Selective Enrollment Elementary School. The application period for the 2023-2024 school year is open from Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 10:00am to Friday, November 15, 2024 at 5:00pm. Please visit GoCPS for applications, guides, videos, and additional information. Children entering Kindergarten through eighth grade are eligible to apply.
Families will not be able to add, remove, or re-rank programs on their application after this date. Please note that there will not be a re-rank deadline this year. All application edits, including re-ranking, should be completed prior to the application deadline on November 15th, 2024 at 5 pm.

Pre-Kindergarten Application
Lenart also offers a full day Pre-Kindergarten program for 3-4 years olds. This Pre-Kindergarten program is a part of the CPS Early Learning Program and is separate from our K-8 gifted program. All students that attend our Pre-Kindergarten program will still have to go through the Selective Enrollment application process for Kindergarten. Once you have applied on GoCPS and accepted an offer, please complete the enrollment packet and bring it in person to the school.
