Welcome Message From AP Stewart

Hello Lenart Staff and Families,

It is with a humble heart and great sense of responsibility that I introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal of Ted Lenart Regional Gifted Center. I am honored to be chosen to lead such a phenomenal school alongside Principal Adams.

I am thrilled to begin a great school year with you. After obtaining my bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University in middle school education, I began my educational journey as a middle school teacher in Chicago Public Schools. Over the years, I have served in a variety of positions such as: a teacher, an instructional coach, a teacher mentor, a program director at the National Center for Urban Education at Illinois State University, and more.

As your new Assistant Principal, it is my commitment to ensure that every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to reach their fullest potential. I believe that we can continue to build a nurturing and dynamic school experience that celebrates every unique strength.

I am eager to meet each of you and to work collaboratively in achieving our shared goals.
